Thermography in a new dimension
The first thermal imaging camera in tablet format – AC080V
The unique and entirely new concept of the AC080V unites the functions of an innovative thermal imaging camera with the ultra-compact and user-friendly design of a tablet. The large 5-inch touchscreen shows at a glance how 19,200 fully radiometric and independent temperature measuring spots capture even the smallest temperature changes in real time. And that is only one in a variety of technical innovations inspiring the users. In short, the AC080V, being the first thermal imaging camera in tablet format, opens up new dimensions in the field of mobile thermography.
For instance, the 5-inch touchscreen is unique in this price range. Besides offering plenty of space for excellent thermogram illustrations and allowing for an extremely simple and ergonomic touchscreen operation, a screen of this size is simply able to display more details. This is also due to the detector, which even recognizes the smallest temperature fluctuations between -20 °C and +350 °C with its 160 x 120 temperature measuring spots, i.e. a total of 19,200 pixels. If you want to quickly show a thermography on this device to a client or colleague, the AC080V will yield much better results than a thermal imaging camera in pistol or camcorder design.
Moreover, the camera is equipped with a 21° x 38° lens providing an accordingly large field of vision. Similar to a wide-angle lens, this also allows you to create thermograms of larger measuring objects without the need to stand at a particularly great distance from the object. The fixed focus renders manual focussing unnecessary: from a minimum distance of 50 cm, the image will always be sharp. By the way: Besides thermal images, even entire infrared videos can be recorded – and transferred to a PC or smartphone via USB, WLAN or bluetooth. And owing to integrated GPS, position information can be recorded at any time. The likewise integrated 8 megapixel digital camera completes the technical equipment and provides razor-sharp real images.
Intuitive operation – the ideal thermal imaging camera on site
A variety of measuring functions for evaluation and analysis is directly integrated in the device, including automatic temperature tracking, report analysis and temperature alarm. The isotherm function, which is essential for building diagnostics and electrical thermography, is also included here – equally unique on the market in this price range. The measurement correction via setting options for ambient temperature, degree of emission, reflected temperature, distance and relative humidity professionally complements this range of functions.
With the Wizard App already pre-installed, a "mini-report" can be created on the device itself and then output as a PDF file. Particularly convenient: The tablet thermal imaging camera is based on the Android operating system. This means simple touchscreen operation, just as with a smartphone or tablet. Naturally almost all apps available for Android can be downloaded and installed.
The camera, which can be operated intuitively, is ideally suited for use on site. Without any protruding components and thanks to its compact dimensions, it allows for particularly easy storage. And since, with a weight of only 405 grams, the new tablet thermal imaging camera is also extremely light, it should always be at the ready – no matter if property managers want to identify the cause of mould growth, or if technicians and plumbers want to check electric control cabinets or localize leakages in floor heatings.
