A functional design pleasing to the eye, technical equipment – remarkably convenient and modest pricing: The dehumidifier TTK 127 E not only combines timeless values, it additionally comes with an extra 'Comfort function' as a special highlight. Optimum room climate at all times – simply at the push of a button. The TTK 127 E automatically regulates the humidity level to a comfortable value depending on the temperature. At most, the dehumidifier strips the ambient air from up to 50 litres of moisture per day and is suited for room sizes of up to 150 m².

Comfort function: Temperature-dependent dehumidification

For a perfect indoor climate, the room temperature and humidity level must be synchronized. And this is exactly where the temperature-dependent dehumidification comes in. The device adjusts the humidity level to the optimum value depending on the temperature. The comfort function is particularly advisable when utilizing program-controlled heating systems. If the room temperature changes in the day or night, the dehumidifier adapts its dehumidification performance in a fully automated fashion.

Effective and simple

Needless to say, the device also comes with a function for hygrostat-controlled automatic dehumidification. First, a fixed humidity value is selected by means of the target value preselection function. The setting range is between a relative humidity level of 35 % and 85 % in increments of 5 %. When this value is exceeded, the dehumidifier automatically switches itself on and then off again to save energy as soon as the desired target value has been reached.

Auto restart function

In case of an unexpected switch-off due to a power interruption, the auto restart function (or “Memory function”) makes the device restart with the previously selected setting as soon as the power supply has been restored. This makes the dehumidifier also suitable for combined use with a timer.

Gentle laundry drying with dehumidifiers

Apart from ambient air dehumidification, a dehumidifier can be conveniently used for drying laundry – either in an assisting way or as a full replacement for a conventional dryer. The laundry drying function (also referred to as clothes drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional air drying outside.

Dehumidifiers offer the benefit of drying the laundry as gently as in the nature outside. Colours retain their brilliance and the life span of clothes is longer than with conventional dryers – and all this with a substantially lower power consumption.

Furthermore, even sensitive materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibres can be dried without any problems. In contrast to pure air drying, the laundry feels much softer and more pleasant on your skin.

Laundry drying can also be performed with dehumidifiers without an additional laundry drying function. The target value of the air humidity must then be set in accordance with the desired residual humidity:

Cupboard dry: 46 % of relative air humidity

Iron dry: 58 % of relative air humidity

Skin dry: 65 % of relative air humidity

Propane (R290) as environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers

Every year, several million tonnes of environmentally harmful CO₂emissions (greenhouse gases) are emitted into the air by synthetic refrigerants. For this reason, the utilization of alternative refrigerants has become one of our key objectives. By using propane (R290) as refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to protecting our climate.

The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound belonging to the group of hydrocarbons. Unlike synthetic refrigerants the environmentally friendly propane (R290) comes with neither ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) nor a noteworthy greenhouse effect (GWP = 3).

Additional bonus for the environment: Owing to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant thereby additionally reducing your energy costs.

Convincing features

The timer function, a filling level warning light that indicates a full water tank, the overflow protection with automatic switch-off as well as a laundry drying mode top off the comfort equipment of the TTK 127 E. Moreover, the built-in, washable air filter also enables air purification by removing dust and animal hair.

An integrated separate hose connection allows for external condensation draining also in the unattended permanent mode – the ideal solution for continuous operation in hobby rooms or holiday homes, where one cannot always empty the tank. The large condensation tank has a capacity of 6 litres, which conveniently reduces the draining frequency. Thanks to its wheels and the convenient handles, the TTK 127 E is also ideally prepared for flexible site changes. Owing to its convenient features handling the TTK 127 E is as easy as winking.

Powerful dehumidification thanks to integrated condensate pump.

Thanks to the high-quality condensate pump built into the unit and the convenient setting of the pump-down function at the simple push of a button, 50 liters of water per 24 hours can be automatically drained in large rooms with a volume of up to 375 m³. With this powerful pump capacity, a maximum height difference of up to 4 meters, for example to the next floor, can be overcome without any problems. In addition, it is possible to dehumidify rooms with high humidity in continuous operation without having to constantly empty the water tank. This is particularly advantageous where a large amount of water has to be removed from the room air, for example after water damage.

TTK 127 E – special equipment features

TTK 127 E – control panel — The control panel of the TTK 127 E is provided with a clear design and is easy to understand. The digital display for example shows you the current relative humidity level in the room.

TTK 127 E – air filter — The easily removable air filter retains lint and animal hair and can be quickly and easily wiped or washed out.

TTK 127 E – water tank — The removable water tank has a storage capacity of 6 litres. The device stops automatically when the tank is full and indicates this via LED.

TTK 127 E rear view — In order to continuously drain the condensation water, a pipe can be connected on the rear of the device.

TTK 127 E comfort function — By the automatic coordination of room temperature and air humidity, the comfort function provides for a perfect feel-good ambience. It takes no more than the push of a button and the device automatically regulates the humidity value to a convenient level depending on the temperature.

TTK 127 E timer function — Use the practical timer function to switch the device after a defined number of hours (up to maximally 24 h) on or off. The timer can be programmed in increments of 0.5 hours (0 to 10 h) and in increments of 1 hour (10 to 24 h). The timer prevents unnecessary operating periods and allows you to adapt the dehumidification to your individual rhythm of life.

TTK 127 E - laundry drying function — The TTK 127 E may also be used as a room air laundry dryer to dry wet laundry in living spaces or utility rooms. In this way, you speed up the drying process of the clothes and prevent the humidity contained on the clothes from condensing in the room and from becoming a hotbed for mould.

TTK 127 E – permanent mode — In the permanent mode, the TTK 127 E dehumidifies the room air in continuous operation. This is especially suitable for cellar or storage spaces which are subjected to mould formation by excess humidity. To avoid that you constantly have to drain the water tank, a condensate drain hose can be connected.

TTK 127 E in the office — In order to prevent the formation of unwelcome mould that is dangerous to your health in cellars, hobby rooms or on cool corners and walls exposed to dampness in the first place, we recommend using a dehumidifier continuously and right from the start.

Save electricity and money on dehumidification

With our socket hygrostat BH30 you can additionally save money when dehumidifying damp rooms or keeping rooms dry. The programmable switch is simply plugged in between the dehumidifier and socket to regulate the dehumidification process based on the measured humidity level.

Once the desired target humidity is reached, the hygrostat disconnects the device from the mains until dehumidification is required again. By switching off the compressor and fan during standby times, the device's energy consumption is noticeably reduced.

The initial acquisition costs of the BH30 will have been amortized in a minimum of time.

Moreover, many dehumidifiers only offer rough target value setting for optimum humidity. The hygrostat BH30 allows the room humidity level to be adjusted in increments of 1 % from 20 % to 90 % and thus offers significantly more precise target humidity selection.
