HEPA filter HC MultiQube

High filter class – optimally adapted for the Trotec filter ladder

In combined use with Trotec MultiQube modules, the HEPA filter HC MultiQube enables an especially easy installation, effective filter performance and space-saving operation!

Low-pressure insulation drying requires the application of an effective filter ladder.

Here, restoration companies have to ensure the official precautionary measures necessary to that end.

In case of mineral fibre dust, mould or in order to protect against allergens – e.g. for allergy sufferers, in kindergartens, hospitals or homes for the elderly – a high-efficiency particulate air filter of class H is to be used in addition to a micro filter of class F8:

Just like the Trotec micro filters, the HEPA filter HC MultiQube was also especially designed as part of the Trotec filter ladder for the application with WA water separators and VE compressors and is characterized by an optimal filter efficiency as well as a high separation rate!

The MultiQube HEPA filter system consists of two modules: The robust filter housing in form of a low-maintenance bipartite plastic chassis with convenient quick release fasteners – and the filter element to be replaced after respective usage. A filter element is already included in the scope of delivery.

Trotec HEPA filter elements correspond to filter class H13 as per DIN EN 1822-1:2009 and enable a separation rate of nominally > 99.97 % at a particle size of 0.3 micrometres!

With a filter surface of 3 m² and a nominal air flow rate of 315 m³/h, the HEPA filter elements are optimally adjusted to the technical specifications of vacuum turbines of the MultiQube compressors and provide a power reserve for the combined application with up to two VE 4 S or one VX 5.


Yet more security and active contamination protection by means of HEPAControl


Polluted HEPA filters not only carry the risk of contamination for the ambient air, they also result in longer drying periods and overheating of the compressor turbine.

Here, owing to its innovative HEPAControl status display, the new HEPA filter HC offers more security and active contamination protection as opposed to passive HEPA filter systems!

With a too low filter efficiency due to a spent filter element, the HEPAControl warning light switches on automatically and conspicuously indicates the required replacement of a filter element.

HEPAControl requires no additional power connection, for feed-in of the bright warning LED is effected via an integrated and especially long-lasting high-performance battery.

The advantages of a modular segregation of water separator and HEPA filter

Cost effectiveness: A HEPA filter housing integrated in the water separator would automatically get contaminated with every application, although a HEPA filter is needed only in 50 % of all applications.
Those constructions not only increase the costs for acquisition, but also exceedingly for maintenance and cleaning.

With the Trotec modular solution, the HEPA filter element can optionally only be used when necessary.

Handling: An incorporated HEPA filter would require more space in the water separator and make it larger, heavier and more difficult to handle.

In the Trotec modular solution all components are designed in a compact manner and can be handled individually.

Flexibility: At a fixed installation, HEPA filter or filterhousing would also be acquired with every water seperator, and then used in any application. This is an enormously uneconomic component ratio of 1:1. Since empirically though, only every second application requires a HEPA filter, a component ratio of 2:1 would be entirely sufficient.

With the Trotec modular solution you can cost-effectively buy one HEPA filter element in addition to 2 water separators and flexibly use this only when required.
