With the battery-powered PBSS 10-20V belt sander, you can rely on an ideally equipped all-rounder for perfect sanding results when sanding surfaces – with maximum flexibility in the working area thanks to the cordless device. The lightweight and extremely handy grinding machine with dust extraction system and dust bag is supplied with the required power by a high-performance 20 V 4 Ah Flexpower multi-device battery with quick charging station and battery level indication. The belt sander can also be used with the 20V 2 Ah multi-device battery – simply order it as an accessory. Whether renovating wooden doors, windows and furniture, derusting sheet steel, smoothing filled walls or professional floor renovation – the PBSS 10-20V is the universal all-rounder when large areas need to be finely polished with high sanding speeds. A preselectable speed of 1,030 – 3,020 rpm and a belt speed of up to 350 m/min that can be conveniently adjusted by means of a setting wheel guarantee a quick work progress with a high and even material removal rate – for sanding, sharpening, smoothing, cleaning and deburring wood, plastic, metal, steel and painted surfaces.
The PBSS 10-20V has it all – ergonomics, complete equipment and high performance
Fatigue-free work even during longer grinding sessions – nothing could be easier. The well thought-out device design with a low centre of gravity promises excellent balance and power transmission as well as high working ergonomics and user-friendliness. The soft-grip rubber inlays at the main handle provide for a secure grip. The main handle is provided with an integrated locking switch for continuous operation and belt speed control. The adjustable front handle or guide handle is also ergonomically shaped and equipped with a soft grip insert to ensure a permanently high contact pressure for two-hand operation. The slim reel for sanding close to the edge is provided with an automatic centring function to automatically centre the abrasive belt. If necessary, manual fine adjustment of the belt run can be carried out via an easily accessible adjusting screw. Changing the abrasive belt is carried out equally easy thanks to the innovative clamping lever system – without the use of any tools and in only a few seconds.
To ensure that you can directly start, an abrasive belt (grain size 80, 76 x 457 mm) for wood machining is already included in the scope of delivery. FLEXPOWER MULTI-DEVICE BATTERY 20V/4AH – included in the scope of delivery
This power pack is the performance leader in the Trotec Flexpower portfolio. Those who are not fully satisfied with 20 V of power alone can further benefit from the substantially increased endurance of this prime battery. A charging capacity of 4 Ah enables device runtimes increased by the multiplier factor 1.5 – as compared to standard batteries with only 1.5 Ah – and, mind you, the operating time is still twice as long as that of our Flexpower batteries with 2 Ah.
Less time is required for the charging process, seeing as this prime battery can be recharged to 100 % with the quick charger in only 90 minutes.
Tip: With a second battery, you can ensure endlessly long runtimes. While one battery is charging, the work can be continued with the second one.

PBSS 10‑20V – perfect sanding results without raising dust
Forget about dusty work areas or rooms – the PBSS 10-20V has found a remedy to defy dust in the air. With its excellent sanding performance, the PBSS 10-20V belt sander provides a high material removal rate and thus large amounts of particles. To prevent this fine dust from ending up in the room air, contaminating the work area or even being inhaled, the grinding machine is equipped with an external dust extraction system and an easy-to-clean dust collection bag with quick lock function. The bag is emptied quickly and easily via a zipper system.

The cordless vacuum cleaner VC 15‑20V saves you from emptying the dust bag. As an extraction system for power tools, the VC 15-20V keeps the air and working environment clean – independently from sockets and annoying extension cables. Just like the belt sander, the vacuum cleaner’s performance is also supplied by a lithium-ion battery (20V/2Ah) from the Flexpower multi-device battery series.
Fine dust particles that are ejected by the belt sander while sanding are effortlessly sucked up by the extremely manoeuvrable cordless vacuum cleaner, which is equipped with convenient castors, into its 10-litre dust collection container. Besides, an integrated HEPA filter (> 89 % filter efficiency) prevents dust particles that have been sucked in from getting back into the room air and being inhaled. This protects your health and provides for a clean working environment. After the work is done, the vacuum cleaner can be used for cleaning up the work area.

Which grit is to be used for which type of application?
The set of abrasive belts from Trotec contains sandpapers with 6 different grain sizes. Which grit best suits which application depends on the condition of the initial surface and on the desired result or the intended surface appearance. Coarse, medium or fine grit – for ideal results we recommend using the following abrasive belts from our set:
Coarse grit (1 x 40 and 2 x 60)
With the coarse grain sizes 40 and 60 you can start processing rough surfaces on boards, planks or old furniture. Coarse-grained sandpaper removes a lot of material in a short period of time – this ensure a fast work progress which is especially suited for removing scratches, discontinuities and surface irregularities. But the sanded surface is still relatively rough.
Medium grit (1 x 80 and 2 x 100)
Following the rough grinding you can use the abrasive belts of grain size 80 and 100 to refine your result. The medium-grained belts are also excellently suited for removing any paint or adhesive residues. An already very smooth wooden surface on the other hand can be roughened up a little for subsequent painting.
Fine grit (2 x 120 and 2 x 150)
For the perfect finishing touches we recommend using the two sandpapers with the finest grit (120 and 150). Afterwards you can run your fingers along a silk-smooth wooden surface. Fine sanding is also the best preparation for a later treatment of the wood with oil or wax.
