Where there is smoke, there is fire – and where there is planing work, there are chips. But even this challenge is easily met by the PPLS 10-750 in a clean way, for the electric planer removes chips from the work area just as quickly as it produces them. An integrated blower function with two-side chip ejector guarantees fast planing without chip accumulation and allows for chip ejection to the left or right-hand side as desired. If required for a specific working situation, it is also possible to connect a dust bag. Moreover, the chips can be sucked off externally using the adapter contained in the scope of delivery to maintain a clean working environment.

The symmetrical design of the electric planer makes the PPLS 10-750 easy to handle for both right- and left-handers. The knob at the front serves as a handle for bimanual guiding and doubles as a cutting depth adjuster to provide a practice-optimized solution with an incremental cutting depth adjustment and easily readable depth scale. In fine increments of 0.2 mm, the cutting depth can be variably adjusted from 0 to 3 mm.

In terms of ergonomics, the compact PPLS 10-750 was optimized for professional continuous operation: with a perfectly positioned centre of gravity and additional soft grip inlays in the main handle. Consequently, a firm and secure grip is ensured even during longer operation for vibration-damped planing at all times. With its solid aluminium base plates the planer can be directed very precisely.

The front base plate is additionally provided with three differently sized V-grooves so that accurate chamfering becomes mere child's play.

To guarantee even, plane work results, the large cutting head of the PPLS 10-750 is equipped with two reversible high-quality carbide blades offering double durability. If worn, the blades can simply be turned over and continued to be used with the rear edge before they have to be replaced.
