Heat gun HyStream 2100
Electronically controlled professional hot air blower with high level of user comfort
With its practice-optimized German industrial design the heat gun HyStream 2100, exclusively available from Trotec, at first sight raises professional expectations only to be exceeded by the formidable on-site application of the device.
With a power consumption of 2,000 W and the flexible adjustment of hot air temperature and fan performance the HyStream 2100 allows for a wide range of applications including soldering, welding and tin-coating work, but also curing adhesive and paint removal, shrink-wrapping or drying varnish.
Can be configured for manifold applications
For things to heat up, but not boil over, the HyStream 2100 comes equipped with many convenient adjustment options. In the temperature range between 50 °C and 650 °C the hot air temperature can be preselected in increments of 10 degrees at the push of a button. Also, the air flow rate can be regulated by 5 steps ranging between 250 and 500 litres per minute. This way, the HyStream 2100 can be optimally configured for every application.
A particularly convenient feature is the colour LCD on the rear: It allows you to keep an eye on the respective operating values temperature and air flow rate at all times. The colour changes when the selected temperature value is reached. Red indicates the heating phase, green confirms having reached the target temperature – as simple as that.
Similarly, the HyStream 2100 is easy to handle. With the light weight of only 800 g and the ergonomic design even a longer use of this hot air unit is practically effortless, the soft pistol grip and protective bar ensure comfortable working as well as a secure hold.
Handy functions for more comfort and safety
With the heat gun HyStream 2100 you are always on the safe side, for this thermo tool is supplied in TÜV-tested quality, thus guaranteeing high value, safety and functionality.
The hot air blower is electronically controlled and so guarantees a constant operating temperature of the tool in continuous operation – a must-have for precise soldering and welding work. Further integrated is an overheating protection that automatically switches off the heating element in case of overload whereas the fan keeps running.
In addition to the 60 hot air levels for high temperatures of up to 650 °C the heat gun HyStream 2100 is further provided with a cold setting of 50 °C for quickly cooling the material to be processed or to exchange the attachment nozzle.
With the cold setting the heating element can be cooled down in a timely manner and without risking damage, so the HyStream 2100 can be stored away again safely after use.
Thanks to the especially well-balanced weight distribution, this thermo tool is also suited for stationary tilt-proof operation permitting free-handed working.
This means, that you can hold onto the workpiece with both hands, which is particularly practical when bending pipes. But the stationary use is also a good idea for prolonged soldering work or similar applications.
Professional all-rounders – many special applications included
The set of attachment nozzles included in the HyStream 2100's standard scope of delivery renders this heat gun an ideal thermo tool for virtually any task:
The diversion nozzle protects heat-sensitive materials from overheating by simply diverting the radiated heat. Ideal for removing old coats of paint and window putty or other restoration work.
Using the barbecue lighter nozzle, the charcoal will be red-hot and ready for use in only a few minutes.
The reducing nozzle concentrates the radiated heat for work requiring pinpoint accuracy, e.g. to remove paint out of corners or for welding work.
A wide-angle nozzle ensures a steady and extensive distribution of air, ideal for the large-scale burn-off of old coats of paint or else to evenly dry putty.
