Precise cross and single lines all around for accurate assembly work
The both user-friendly and shock-resistant rotating laser BD8A with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery system facilitates decoration and assembly work where high accuracy is required. At the touch of a button, the device projects 2 x 360° horizontal and 2 x 360° vertical lines, thus enabling horizontal and vertical levelling work to be carried out simultaneously, which makes it particularly efficient to work with. The green laser lines of the BD8A are significantly brighter than red lines and also have a higher range, contributing to improved visibility of the auxiliary laser lines even at longer distances.
Precise helper for a wide range of tasks
The rotating laser BD8A makes it easy, for example, to hang up or mark wallpaper borders, wall tiles, coloured edges or wall cupboards on a straight line, or to drill exactly placed dowel holes at a perfectly uniform height. Simultaneously on all four walls!
Always everything in perfect order – quick and correct alignment
Forget the time-consuming handling of a spirit level and do not waste any thoughts on the exact alignment of the device – leave all that to the 360° rotating laser BD8A! The integrated lasers are self-levelling and fully automatically compensate for unevenness of the ground of up to 3.5°. This self-alignment process only takes a few seconds and takes place immediately after the device is switched on. If self-levelling is not possible due to a larger unevenness or due to contamination, the laser will indicate this by flashing laser lines.
Individually selectable horizontal and vertical laser lines
The horizontal and vertical laser lines, which can be switched on individually at the touch of a button, provide optimum visibility for a wide range of tasks. Depending on the application, the BD8A projects single or cross lines onto the wall, ceiling and floor. The four horizontal and vertical laser lines can be combined as desired.
The bright laser lines assist you in mounting shelves as well as installing drywall, whereas the right-angled laser crosses make laying tiles and flooring a precision job. Even oblique marking lines can be projected in a trice at a freely definable inclination angle. This even makes the otherwise tricky installation of a banister to be mounted in parallel to the stairs become mere child's play.
Optionally available: universal tripod for cross line laser, measuring devices and cameras
The universal telescopic tripod from Trotec, which can be ordered separately, has a commercially available 1/4" (6.35 mm) standard screw connection. This allows you to simply screw your cross line laser onto the tripod and position it optimally in the room. Simply extend the telescopic segment of the tripod to the desired height and fix it in place. The 3-legged construction guarantees secure footing. Furthermore, the universal tripod can also be used e.g. for photo and video cameras as well as a variety of measuring devices.
The all-rounder among the cross and line lasers
Four projection modes with individually selectable and freely combinable horizontal and vertical laser lines make the cordless compact laser BD8A a multifunctional precision tool for craftsmen and do-it-yourselfers. Furthermore, the BD8A comes equipped with a comprehensive range of accessories, such as a multi-adjustable magnetic holder incl. spirit level, a mini tripod with integrated spirit level that can be adjusted in all positions and finely adjusted radially, a special platform for elevated positioning of the measuring device as well as an adapter plate for central tripod mounting.
Precise measuring technology, robust design
The BD8A is so easy to use that casual users as well as professional craftsmen can benefit from perfectly aligned laser lines. Weighing just 750 g, the solidly constructed cross line laser has a high-quality 2-component housing (hard plastic/rubber) and is only slightly larger than a Rubik's cube, which makes it extremely mobile and, thanks to battery operation, immediately ready for use anywhere at any time. With its integrated ¼-inch thread, the rotating laser can be mounted both on the supplied mini tripod and on commercially available tripods.
Full power at all times: lithium-ion battery technology
The two supplied 3.7 V 18650 lithium-ion batteries (4,000 mAh) have a battery life of up to 12 hours when fully charged. The measuring device can be charged via the USB-C cable included in the scope of delivery using a commercially available USB power adapter or your PC/laptop, or by connecting it directly to a USB socket.
