Mud, rain and dust put no stop to the TD200’s measuring. Because the extremely robust IP65 construction of our distance meter flagship easily withstands drops from up to 1 m and is water-jet-proof as well as dust-proof. Automatic height measurements
The height is automatically calculated on the basis of the inclination angle and by measuring two distances, i.e. the start and end point of the searched distance.
Area calculation
After measuring the width and length of an area, the TD200 automatically calculates the corresponding area and indicates all three values.
Indirect length measurements
The “Auto Level” function combines distance and inclination measurements so that horizontal distances can be determined with just one measurement, even past obstacles.
Circular area calculation
By performing the individual measurement of the diameter of a circle, the TD200 automatically calculates the area and circumference of the circle and displays both values.
Cylinder volume calculation
After measuring the diameter and height of a cylinder, the TD200 automatically calculates the cylinder volume as well as the circular area and displays both values.
Point-to-point distance measurement
The P2P function can be used to measure the distance between any two points from one location.
2-point Pythagoras function
The distance between the two end points can be determined automatically by measuring the distance between two end points if one measurement is taken at a “right angle”.
3-point Pythagoras for indirect height measurements
This function allows for indirect height or length measurements even without line of sight or if obstacles are in the way.
3-point Pythagoras for partical distance calculations
Partial heights or widths can also be calculated with the TD200 using the 3-point Pythagoras function.
Individual or non-stop measurements
Instead of performing individual measurements, you can also set a continuous mode. In this mode, the distance is determined continuously and the minimum and maximum values are also displayed.
Marking-out function
If objects are to be placed at equal distances, this function helps to determine the stakeout points. Approaching the target point is indicated by the TD200 by means of a display indication and a signal tone.
2-point trapezoidal function
The 2-point trapezoidal function helps to calculate the length of oblique elements, such as roof parts. The desired length is then calculated from two individual measurements and the determined inclination angle.
3-point trapezoidal function
If a 2-point measurement cannot be performed due to obstacles, the length of oblique elements can be measured by means of the 3-point trapezoidal function. In this case, the length is calculated from three individual measurements.

The digital camera with 3x digital zoom and target finder allows for precise long-distance measurements up to a range of 200 metres – even in unfavourable lighting conditions.
