Commercial air cleaner TAC 1500 S
The robust standard solution for clean air during restoration, reconstruction and expansion or painting work using airless paint spraying systems
Economic acquisition, powerful performance values and simple handling – these characteristics are combined in a robust metal construction of the air cleaner TAC 1500 S that is suitable for use on construction sites. Its Monoventic regulator enables you to steplessly adjust the air volume precisely to your actual needs, and the flexible filter system allows for the use of variable filter combinations for every construction site situation.
With the TAC 1500 S you can reliably filter coarse and fine dust or spray paint mist as well as concrete dust, fine sanding or plaster dust and highly dangerous quartz dusts or asbestos fibres.
The filter frame can be flexibly equipped with one or two filter elements, for example a G4 filter or an additional F7 filter, so that in combination with the HEPA filter a two- or three-stage air purification process in accordance with dust class H can be achieved. It is also possible to fit Trotec spray paint filters – ideal for an effective extraction of spray paint mists when using compressed-air or airless units.
TAC 1500 S – the ideal solution for dust-free sites
The TAC 1500 S is the economical solution for all users who do not want to do without the performance advantages of the professional air cleaner TAC 1500 on construction sites and during restoration work, but who neither want to use the device in hygienic areas nor in cleanroom environments.
For this purpose the Vario-shift function for terminal HEPA filters as well as the separate prefilter change indicator were omitted, while the air flow rates were kept completely identical to those of the TAC 1500 and can also be adjusted as needed via the infinitely adjustable Monoventic air volume control.

Virus filtering also possible now!
For the H13 HEPA filter compartment of all professional air cleaners of the TAC series, as of now also high-performance filters of the class H14 are available as consumables for virus filtering.
These final filters for cleanrooms of classes ISO 4 and ISO 3 feature a separation efficiency of 99.995% at a particle size of 0.1 to 0.2 µm.
Viral strains such as SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV or SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) show similar particle sizes, recent studies for example specify the particle size of the coronavirus to 120 to 160 nanometres, i.e. 0.12 to 0.16 µm.
Such particle sizes can be effectively separated by means of the H14 filters, especially since viruses in the air generally occur in combination with saliva or suspended matters as larger conglomerates.
All H14 filters meet highest quality standards that are mandatory in particular for sensitive applications in bacteria and virus filtering:
- Each filter is tested and receives an individual serial number
- The test report is enclosed as certificate in duplicate with every filter package
