TAC XT – application area HEPA air purification
The TAC XT as a 100 % mobile solution for air pollution control and virus filtration
High-performance air purifier TAC V+ – TAC XT's prominent little brother
If you need a high-performance air cleaner for all the application areas mentioned above, but you do not require any heating function for heating spaces, the high-performance air purifier TAC V+ is the best recommendation!
The TAC V+ is based on the same assembly as the TAC XT and has an identical fan performance and HEPA air purification function. The TAC V+ is not equipped with a heating unit for heating rooms, however, the device comes with an additional heating for automatic filter regeneration and thermal virus decontamination. Detailed information about the TAC V+ is provided on the product page of this "made in Germany" room air cleaner ...
High-performance air purification in combination with decontamination or air heating
If the TAC XT is equipped with the DualDecon blowing-out tower or the attachment hood for hose connection, the high-efficiency particulate air filter of class H14 can additionally be installed in the TAC XT.
This fully encapsulated H14 metal lamella high-temperature filter "made in Germany" with flow-optimised high-tech filter material is specially developed for Trotec and is characterised by a high separation efficiency of 99.995 % for particle sizes of 0.1 to 0.2 µm. This allows the device to effectively filter bacteria and viruses from the room air.
In combination with the H14 HEPA filter, the TAC XT can also be used as a powerful air cleaner. Two fields of application are particularly well suited for an additional HEPA air purification with the TAC XT:
1. HEPA air purification in combined room heating applications
The TAC XT in an unbeatable universal solution for mobile heating applications with additional air purification. For this reason, the device is ideally suited for the use in mobile hospitals and emergency camps, workshops, in party tents or for other indoor events.
Especially in the time between seasons, in spring and autumn, the air can become unexpectedly cool in the evening. During these times, the thermostat-controlled TAC XT works as a 'compensation heater' and automatically fills the surrounding cold areas with draught-free warmth evenly and pleasantly. This way, the heater can either be used autonomously or to complement existing heating systems.
The additional HEPA air purification function of the TAC XT does not only prevent the air from excessive cooling but also from polluted and germ-laden air:
Wherever many people meet, the concentration of pathogens rises in the ambient air. Recent scientific studies indicate that "coughed up pathogens will spread for several metres within a few seconds and remain infectious in the room air up to 5 minutes."
Thanks to its high-performance air purification function, the TAC XT creates passing and staying zones with air filtered from viruses – directly at the installation site and for patients, guests, customers and employees. The target areas are continuously refilled with purified air which significantly decreases the risk of infection in these zones in comparison to non-treated areas.
With the integrated HEPA air purification function, the TAC XT does not only provide for a pleasant all-round warmth but for all-round clean room air as well. This dual function of the TAC XT is unbeatable!
2. HEPA air purification alternating with decontamination treatments
If the TAC XT is used during the day as a room heater or virus air cleaner in waiting zones, corridors or other highly frequented areas to effectively reduce the risk of infection even in large rooms, then the TAC XT can be used outside business hours or at night, for example, to decontaminate rooms and equipment.
The H14 HEPA virus filter in the TAC XT is then automatically decontaminated during the decontamination interval. This way, it can be used as decontaminated air cleaner for upcoming events where it will filter viruses from the air. This means that the TAC XT is provided with a self-regeneration function in order to fight viruses permanently.
Application area HEPA air purification – practical benefits:
- Constant air pollution control and virus filtration in zones with a high volume of public traffic
- Unique technology – Trotec exclusive:
Automatic filter regeneration thanks to thermal decontamination of the specially developed and heat-resistant high-efficiency particulate air filter of class H14. Provides separation efficiency of 99.995 % for particle sizes of 0.1 to 0.2 μm - Effective air filtration with F7 prefilter and H14 HEPA main filter
- Air discharge directions can be adjusted via flowstop shutter in order to direct the air into the desired areas, all tailored to the individual requirement
- Combined use of professional HEPA H14 air purification and heating is possible. For purified warm air that is free from suspended matter carrying odours
- Simple operation: Fully automatic and low-maintenance operation around the clock
- Resource-efficient: 100 % environmentally friendly, no chemicals, no staff expenses
It's all about the TAC – always the optimum virus air cleaner for every demand
