Despite its large number of functions, the Disto™ D2 is pleasantly easy and intuitive to operate. Architects, real estate agents, kitchen makers, tilers and many other users are able to conduct measurements quickly and reliably and to document the results together with images and sketches on mobile devices thanks to the Bluetooth™ Smart interface.
With the multifunctional end piece of the Disto™ D2, even measurements starting at corners or edges do not present a problem. Integrated sensors automatically determine the position of the end piece at any time and thus prevent costly measurement errors.
Extended functionality at the push of a button
Via Bluetooth™ Smart, you can transfer data directly from the Disto™ D2 to a large number of apps on your smartphone or tablet. Using the free "Leica Disto™ sketch" app, you can, for instance, create ground plans or sketches as well as photos and document the precise measurement results. The finished documents can be sent via E-mail or stored on your mobile device.
Multifunctional end piece
No matter whether you are measuring from corners, notches or edges, using the multifunctional end piece you can always apply the Disto™ D2 in a precise way. Fold out the multifunctional end piece by up to 90° to position it on outer edges, or fold it out completely to measure from corners or notches. The position of the end piece is automatically detected and taken into account. This helps to avoid costly measurement errors.
