BR15 microwave radiation measuring device

Reliable detection of harmful microwave radiation

Microwave radiation is odourless and invisible, but not harmless.

Using the BR15 you can detect microwave emissions from all high-frequency devices functioning on 2.45 GHz ISM band.

And there are more than a few:

The domestic microwave oven, several mobile phone networks, wireless video transmission systems, WLAN, Bluetooth, to some extent also different radio transmitters, remote controls or cordless DECT telephones.

Whether leaky microwave, WLAN router, mobile phone or transmitter mast – using the BR15, harmful microwave radiation can be reliably detected and indicated as digital indicator value on the easily legible display.

If the determined value exceeds the ICNIRP maximum limit value of 5 mW/cm², the BR15 automatically alerts the user by means of an acoustic warning signal and additional warning indication on the display.

By use of the microwave indicator BR15 of the MultiMeasure Basic series, harmful microwave radiance and the cause can be detected quickly and easily.

A few practical benefits:

  • Quick and easy radiation measurement in 2.45 GHz band
  • Optimum price-performance-ratio
  • Maximum value and hold function
  • Automatic visual and acoustic alarm signal generator when exceeding limit values
  • Backlit display
  • Soft touch function keys
  • Automatic switch-off

Facts worth knowing about EMF radiation:

When setting limit values in the high-frequency range, most countries in the world are guided by the recommendations of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).

The current ICNIRP limit value recommendations vary depending on the case of application and range from 0.2 to 5 mW/cm².

The permissible emission limit value e.g. for microwave ovens according to DIN EN 60335-2-90 is 5 mW/cm².

Values exceeding a limit value of 5 mW/cm² are unanimously rated as harmful to health.
