Peltier dehumidifiers TTP 1 E / TTP 2 E

Ideal drying solution with timeless design

Using the ultra-compact Peltier dehumidifiers TTP 1 E and TTP 2 E you can achieve impressive results on restricted space. They only take up about 2/3 of the room of a customary shoe box – but come equipped with an innovative thermoelectric technology promising dry conditions at all times. Mini dehumidifiers get rid of moist, musty room air and allow you to breathe with relish.

By the way, the two mini dehumidifiers' only distinguishing feature is their colour scheme – in terms of technology they are structurally identical and with a dehumidification performance of about 220 ml per day keep smaller rooms of up to 5 m² reliably dry. The unpretentious, elegant design blends in with any living or working environment. Owing to their particular compactness the TTP devices are excellently suited for use in closets, shoe cabinets or pantries or in some cases also in small, windowless bathrooms without much ingress of moisture. These sensitive humid spots are however precisely where the dehumidifiers are optimally positioned: they remove excess moisture from the air, reduce condensation and so prevent mould growth.

Thanks to the Peltier element the operation of these energy-efficient devices is also ultra-silent, so there should be nothing to disturb a good night's sleep. Moreover, both TTP devices can score with simple handling characteristics during dehumidification: just plug the device in and switch it on – that's it! An LED indicates the operating status of the device and whether the water tank needs to be emptied. Each device continues to run until a sensor detects that the 500 ml water tank capacity has reached its limit, then the device will be switched off automatically. As soon as the collection container has been drained, operation is automatically resumed. Owing to the integrated air purification function the TTP 1 E / TTP 2 E filters animal hair, fluff and dust from the air.

Here is how condenser dryers with Peltier technology work

A cold surface must be generated within this type of dehumidifier as well. The temperature of this surface must lie below the dew point of the air so that water can condense on it. This is achieved by the eponymous Peltier element: a compact, thermoelectric converter that – when electricity flows – causes one element side to become very hot and the other very cold.

A blower now sucks in the room air and guides it past the cold side of the Peltier element. There the air cools down to below dew point, the moisture condenses and drips into a collection container. The dry air is then guided past the hot element side, where it absorbs the heat and flows back into the room as warm, dry air.
