In contrast to many other heating devices or radiant heaters, the heat in the case of the thermal wave heater TCH 2050 E is not only emitted into the room from one direction. The combination of convection heating and Mica infrared heating elements instead provides warmth that can be felt from all sides. Furthermore, the heating elements warm up especially quickly, so making it possible for you to already enjoy the warmth within a few seconds. Thermostat-controlled for high-level comfort and a low energy consumption
By means of the remote control and the intuitive membrane key control panel, you can quickly and easily select 2 heating levels (1,200 watts and 2,000 watts). The current room temperature is always shown to you on the LCD display. The TCH 2050 E is equipped with an intelligent thermal control via thermostat so that you can adapt its heating capacity optimally to your room temperature.
Just enter your desired target room temperature in the range from 15 °C to 35 °C. The thermal wave heater now heats the room until the preselected temperature has been reached and then switches off automatically. When reheating is required, the heater switches on automatically again, maintaining the room temperature at a constant level. This procedure is especially efficient and energy-saving, as the heating device only heats as much as is necessary to provide for comfortable feel-good warmth.
Noiseless and dust-free warmth
Since the Trotec thermal wave heater in comparison with electric fan heaters does not need a blower, it does not raise any dust in the room. The integrated frost monitor function ensures that the room temperature does not drop to below 5 °C . This also prevents water pipes and heating pipes from freezing. Particularly conservatories, greenhouses, garages as well as storage facilities or cellars which are not connected to a central heating system can be kept free of frost in this way.
To ensure reliable heating operation, the thermal wave heater is equipped with an overheating protection, which automatically switches off in the case of a pending heat accumulation. The stable heater is also optimally protected against being knocked over accidentally, e.g. by pets, careless guests or romping children, since the integrated rocker off-switch deactivates the TCH 2050 E immediately if it is brought to a tilted position.

With its 3D heating system, the TCH 2050 E cleverly combines the benefits of a convector and those of an infrared heater and in this way provides for real all-round warmth within less than one minute.
Efficient Mica heating technology with mica plates
The three-layer mica heating plates of natural mica ore generate pleasant infrared radiant heat within no time, which, in contrast to conventional radiant heaters, is not only emitted from one direction, but simultaneously to the front and to the back. Another advantage of top-quality mica heating elements is their full-surface and consistent radiation performance. The intensive radiant heat is generated across the whole surface, without performance loss and without oxygen consumption.
Room-filling heat following the natural principle of the sun
The functionality of infrared radiation follows the natural principle of the sun. It does not only heat the air, but the surfaces of the objects which it hits. The objects store the heat and slowly emit it to the room again, so that it continues its effect when the thermal wave heater has already been switched off again. On the skin, infrared radiation creates the pleasant sensation of natural sunlight.
Bonus point: The pleasant warmth has an immediate effect in the whole room without any start-up period and does not have to be transported through the circulating room air first.
Ascending convection heat for an increased heat output
Additionally, the hot mica heating elements emit warm air that also rises upwards. This produces a soft air current that distributes the warmth further in the whole room. This principle is referred to as convection.
