Radial fan TFV 600

Versatile high-pressure fan for long air transport routes

The TFV 600 is designed for a high conveying capacity with high counter-pressure even in case of long transport routes when using several interconnected air transport hoses.

This makes the TFV 600 the ideal conveying fan for ventilation of channel and pipe or tunnel systems, during welding work or sealing and floor coating in underground working.

Even with long hose distances of 50 metres with multiple arcs this powerful radial fan ensures large air volume, for in contrast to axial fans the TFV 600 conveys air vertically to the rotor axle according to the operating principle of a centrifuge, where air is pressed to the outside and condensed in a helical housing.

And because the radial fan of this premium device, completely manufactured in Germany, is incorporated in a robust, powder-coated steel housing with highly resistant two-component finish, it doesn’t mind being operated in aggressive surroundings. The housing is optionally also available in all desired steel grades.

In addition to the frameless standard version the TFV 600 is optionally also available as depicted incl. additional frame made of galvanized steel and with robust wheels, forklift slots and crane lifting lugs. The transport frame offers not only maximum mobility for application at frequently changing locations, it can also be stacked in two tiers to save space during transport and storage.

If desired, the TFV 600 is also available as ex-proof version.

Capacity calculation:

  1. Calculate the cubature of the building.
    (In our example: 2,730 m³)
  2. Calculate the required air volume per hour by determining the number of air changes and multiplying this value with the cubature.
    (In our example: 21,840 m³/h)
  3. Determine the overall channel length between air inlet and outlet in metres.
    (In our example: 29 metres)
  4. Calculate the total amount of curvatures of the air transport hose in degrees.
    (In our example: 270°)
  5. Now, on the characteristic air volume curves of the TFV models, determine the intersection of air volume axis and channel length axis based on the so far calculated values and choose the model whose relevant characteristic curvature curve lies on or as close as possible above this intersection.

Result: A TFV 900 corresponds to the capacity requirements of our example calculation.
