IDS 30 – mobile heating power for workshops, halls and construction sites

The robust design of the IDS 30 offers everything you need for an economic and effective heating application. Thanks to its carriage with large wheels, this flexibly applicable oil heater allows for quick transport and an easy installation even on construction sites and on uneven surfaces. Moreover, thanks to the integrated fuel tank, you do not require an external oil tank.

The chimney oil heater fan IDS 30 is originally "Made in Europe" and comes equipped with a standard electronic flame trap, safety thermostat for overheating protection and fully automatic after-cooling. Additionally, the double-walled housing with protective coating increases safety at work by minimizing the surface temperature of the outer casing and thus the risk of injuries and further offers an effective soundproofing. A hose connector and thus an air hose of 7.6 metres length can also be attached to the device if required.

A high degree of reliability when heating cold workstations in winter, a minimum maintenance effort and a persuasive value-for-money ratio complete the attractive overall image of the IDS 30. The oil heater fan operates with an air flow rate of 1,150 m³/h, features a max. rated heat output of 38.4 kW and, thanks to its integrated oil burner with Danfoss® pump, quickly brings workshops, construction sites and storage spaces to a pleasant temperature.

IDS indirect oil heater fans – maximum heating power, clean warmth

The indirect oil heater fans of the IDS series are ideally suited for rooms in which ventilation is only possible to a certain extent, but which are still used by people or animals. They are also a good choice for speeding up construction drying as well as in rooms where there is a fire hazard due to combustible substances.

In principle, the combustion process is identical to that of the IDS direct oil heater fans: The fuel is drawn from the tank by means of a pump, brought to operating pressure and in a final step is sprayed into the combustion chamber via an atomiser nozzle as an air-fuel mixture, where it is then burnt. In the case of indirect heaters, however, the air to be heated is fully isolated from the combustion chamber.

Although with indirect oil heater fans the air provided for heating is drawn by the same blower as the combustion air, it is yet guided separately past the increased surface of the combustion chamber, the heat exchanger, so as to be able to heat up there without being mixed with the flue gas in this process. Whereas the combustion products are discharged to the outside via a chimney, 100 % emission-free warm air is spreads through the outlet opening of the indirect oil heater fan.

Thus, in order to obtain both clean and dry warmth, we recommend using an indirect oil heater fan. In contrast to direct heaters, in this case neither combustion products nor released water vapour enters the room air if a suitable flue gas evacuation has been mounted on the device’s chimney, leading the flue gases outside of the room to be heated.

The IDS 30 offers a wide range of applications

The IDS 30 offers a wide range of applications

The combination of the carriage design with mobile use, integrated fuel tank and a maximum rated heat output of 28.8 kW makes the indirect oil heater fan IDS 30 a versatile heating solution for a large variety of applications, for instance:

  • Heating of workshops
  • Heating of stables
  • Temperature control of storage facilities
  • Heating of interior spaces of construction sites
  • Clean hot air for festival marquees or exhibition halls
  • Heating of glass or foil greenhouses

For heating interior spaces, the exhaust air of the oil heater can be discharged from the room by mounting a flue pipe to the stainless steel chimney of the IDS 30 and leading it outside.

Instead of large-volume air heating, the oil heater fan IDS 30 additionally allows for spot heating via hot-air hose. The hose connector required for fitting is optionally available on request as an accessory part. And for longer continuous operation, instead of using the integrated tank, an external oil tank can be used to supply the IDS 30. The connection kit required for this purpose is available as an optional accessory part.

Special equipment features of the oil heater fan IDS 30

Thanks to the carriage design with the push bar frame and front wheels, the oil heater fan IDS 30 can be easily transported from one point of use to the other.
Practical carriage design
To prevent the connecting cable from becoming a trip hazard during transport, an integrated cable holder allows for fastening the connecting cable safely whilst the device is transported.

For automatic operation, this oil heater fan is equipped with a connection for an external thermostat by means of which the temperature can be measured and controlled at a location to be heated that is up to 10 metres away (a thermostat is optionally available).
Connection for external thermostat
The integrated tank can be filled easily and has a storage capacity of 42 litres of fuel – enough for at least almost 13 h of maximum operation. Optionally, a connection kit for an external oil tank is available for continuous operation.

In addition to the attachment option of a rain cover, a flue pipe can also be be mounted on the stainless steel chimney of the oil heater fan, for example for wall or chimney ducts for the heating application in interior spaces.
