Professional oil heater fan IDS 100 for clean warmth on the spot

With a rated heat output of 117 kW and an air volume of 5,500 m³/h this professional oil heater fan allows for quick and effective heating applications in storage and production halls, workshops, greenhouses and on construction sites. Reliable continuous operation of the IDS 100 is ensured by the integrated oil burner with its Suntekpump.

The chimney oil heater made in Europe convinces by reliable operation, low maintenance costs and a high safety level. Owing to the double-walled housing with protective coating the surface temperature of the outer casing is reduced to a minimum, which means a decreased risk of injuries for the user. Moreover, the housing provides optimum soundproofing. The device is equipped with an electronic flame trap, safety thermostat for overheating protection and fully automatic after-cooling.

Despite a weight of 149 kilogrammes, the carriage with large wheels allows to easily transport the device from one location to another. When installed in its desired place, the IDS 100 also provides the possibility of connecting an air transport hose with a length of 7.6 metres, since a hose connector is already included in the standard scope of delivery. Optionally you can attach a two-way hose distributor to the IDS 100 if required.

IDS indirect oil heater fans – maximum heating power, clean warmth

The indirect oil heater fans of the IDS series are ideally suited for rooms in which ventilation is only possible to a certain extent, but which are still used by people or animals. They are also a good choice for speeding up construction drying as well as in rooms where there is a fire hazard due to combustible substances.

In principle, the combustion process is identical to that of the IDS direct oil heater fans: The fuel is drawn from the tank by means of a pump, brought to operating pressure and in a final step is sprayed into the combustion chamber via an atomiser nozzle as an air-fuel mixture, where it is then burnt. In the case of indirect heaters, however, the air to be heated is fully isolated from the combustion chamber.

Although with indirect oil heater fans the air provided for heating is drawn by the same blower as the combustion air, it is yet guided separately past the increased surface of the combustion chamber, the heat exchanger, so as to be able to heat up there without being mixed with the flue gas in this process. Whereas the combustion products are discharged to the outside via a chimney, 100 % emission-free warm air is spreads through the outlet opening of the indirect oil heater fan.

Thus, in order to obtain both clean and dry warmth, we recommend using an indirect oil heater fan. In contrast to direct heaters, in this case neither combustion products nor released water vapour enters the room air if a suitable flue gas evacuation has been mounted on the device’s chimney, leading the flue gases outside of the room to be heated.

The IDS 100 offers a wide range of applications

The combination of the carriage design with mobile use, integrated fuel tank and a maximum rated heat output of 117 kW makes the indirect oil heater fan IDS 100 a versatile heating solution for a large variety of applications, for instance:

  • Heating of workshops
  • Heating of stables
  • Temperature control of storage facilities
  • Heating of interior spaces of construction sites
  • Clean hot air for festival marquees or exhibition halls
  • Heating of glass or foil greenhouses

For heating interior spaces, the exhaust air of the oil heater can be discharged from the room by mounting a flue pipe to the stainless steel chimney of the IDS 100 and leading it outside.

Instead of large-volume air heating, the oil heater fan IDS 100 additionally allows for spot heating via hot-air hose. The hose connector required for fitting is optionally available on request as an accessory part – also as two-line hose distributor for simultaneous spot heating of two workplaces. And for longer continuous operation, instead of using the integrated tank, an external oil tank can be used to supply the IDS 100. The connection kit required for this purpose is available as an optional accessory part.

Suitable for drying construction sites, basements and damp masonry

All oil heater fans of the IDS series are suited for quickly and economically drying damp masonry – for example after heavy rainfall, storms, floods or pipe bursts – due to their enormous heating air volume and simultaneously low oil consumption.

Special equipment features of the oil heater fan IDS 100

Thanks to the carriage design with the push bar frame and front wheels, the oil heater fan IDS 100 can be easily transported from one point of use to the other.
Practical carriage design
To prevent the connecting cable from becoming a trip hazard during transport, an integrated cable holder allows for fastening the connecting cable safely whilst the device is transported.
Cable holder for safe storage during transport
For automatic operation, the operating panel which is recessed for protective purposes is equipped with a connection for an external thermostat by means of which the temperature can be measured and controlled at a location to be heated that is up to 10 metres away (a thermostat is optionally available).
Connection for external thermostat
In addition to the attachment option of a rain cover, a flue pipe can also be be mounted on the stainless steel chimney of the oil heater fan, for example for wall or chimney ducts for the heating application in interior spaces.

The IDS 100 comes equipped with a two-line heating system with an easily accessible external fuel filter. Furthermore, an oil pre-heating is optionally available.
Readily accessible fuel filter
The integrated tank can be filled easily and has a storage capacity of 135 litres of fuel – enough for almost 13 h of maximum operation. Optionally, a connection kit for an external oil tank is available for continuous operation.
